improve my handwriting

My senior year of school I re-discovered cursive out of nowhere. I was seriously just waiting for my Political Theory class to begin when I realized I always wrote in print, and how odd it was that we were all taught cursive and had so much emphasis placed on it early in life, yet hardly ever used it later in life. So I just started writing in cursive again. I even had to first make sure I could still do it, and had trouble remembering how a few letters, like Q, went.

My handwriting isn’t actually bad. I’d rate it better than average compared to most guys’. But I’d like for it to be better still, enough so that I can write fast and still have it look pretty. My plan for doing this is taking my time and writing a full page worth of cursive writing as neatly as possible, then practicing by tracing it as fast as I can on trace paper.
