I finally managed to ask the boy from the Halloween party to the little college formal. He smiled a lot, which I think is a good sign.

Oh, man. I was in no sense of the word “inebriated,” but I was able to dance /with/ people (in a non-ironic sense) for the first time. And even did the hinting that dancing would be welcome. My. That was interesting. A good exercise in being more forward, though I should maybe ration experiences such as these.
This mainly concerns fellows, but it really could apply to any part of my life. Like not being so bloody polite when my roommate leaves the overhead light on and it’s 3 AM and I have an exam the next day.
But mostly, yes, it’s about fellows. “Being more forward” will go into effect in about T-5 days when I’m back at school. Wait for it.
