Definitely worth it. Lost this weight in a smidge over 3 months (huge amounts of ellipting, huge amounts of fruits and vegetables…both of which were unheard of the entire time I was in high school.)

Eight more pounds…I’ve gone from a size 14 in pants to (as of today) a size 6, which is good. However, college is coming up in five days so hopefully I can hold out just a bit longer.
18 more pounds to go!
However, 20 days are coming up in which exercise will take the form of hiking about castles…and then only 20 left till college, so we’ll see.
Down 7 pounds, which, while a small amount, is oddly manifested as the ability to wear the skirt that I was last strangled in at my Oberlin interview last September. And I don’t feel as if I’ll suffocate, which is always a plus.
Works for me.
I’m down from a size 14 to a loose size 12, so this is a good development.
The one thing that is helping me work harder in my Body Pump class is the presence of a Latin teacher from a competing school district who /hates/ me. Really loathes. So when I’m contemplating whether to add an extra weight to my bar, all it takes is a look over at her and, if I am in any risk of being out-performed by a mean old woman, on the weight goes. Works like a charm.
Started out needing to rid myself of 40, three and a half weeks ago, or so.
I have become a gym nerd, since then. Body Pump (this draconian aerobics/weight lifting class populated by middle aged women who have bigger muscles than I do) twice a week, elliptical trainer and treadmill set to a high slope four other days. I also ride my bike when possible, though it’s getting a bit toasty in Kentucky these days.
I’d rather have liked to get it off before, say August 23rd, but I’m hoping for 30 by then.
