Yes…I took the leap and went straight into college. My courses will be online, which fit in nicely with work, being a single mom, and wanting to create a different career for myself.
Learning so much already. One area is that of acquiring credible information, and how to do so on the Internet. I had no idea Wikipedia was not considered a reliable source of facts. Also learning how to go to school online, which is quite different than it was 25 years ago. It is so much better as far as time and convenience without missing out on the knowledge. Not having to deal with actual libraries is spectacular too. No more making copies at 5 cents each in a hurry before closing time. Hurray for the Internet.
