I’ve gone shopping today and bought dried chick peas for hummus and falafel, and yellow split peas for dahl. Both high fibre beans and legumes and de-licious. Bought falafel is nothing like home cooked falafel :D.
I’m also eating normal servings again. ie. 2 egg onion, tomato and cheese omelette with two slices of wholemeal toast and a cup of tea, instead of over eating with a 3/4 egg omelette, oozing with cheese, and 4 pieces of white toast WITH butter lol. Which honestly would have made me feel full to the brim, so it’s not like i have that kind of appetite in the first place, just eyes that are too big for my stomach. lmao
If i get hungry later, i can have something then. At least that way i’ll have had time to burn what i’ve already had without excess to be stored, and the next meal will have more of a chance of being used up. So it will turn out to be more like the 6 small meals a day. When i start losing weight and get smaller, some of those meals will probably naturally turn into just a piece of fruit. This way it happens into 6 smaller meals naturally rather than me constantly having to worry about eating every 2.5-3 hours.
I’m also going to make the delicious tahini sauce that has made it bearable for some people to be vegetarians in the first place. It’s the same as the goddess sauce that is sold in stores. Only much cheaper and so easy to make. I bet you i could eat an entire garden with it on :D lol.
