Daily list all the ways I had fun

Today I spent 5 hrs painting, I had a good time
I went out for coffee
I spent time reading Prodigal Summer
I read the paper
Practiced Chess
Played kenken and sudoku

I went to Granville Island, looked around the stores, hung out, had coffee and snacks.
Enjoyed useing my binoculars
Got in touch with a new friend.
Went to listen to a live band.

Why I didn’t continue with this.
On April 30th in the early morning, I got up from a sitting position and I got this pain in my knee, I wasn’t able to stand or walk. It is now Sept 7, I am know able to walk with a limp, I need a walker to walk any distance. I need to make a choise of having an operation or get a knee brace. It has been a challenging 4+ months, physically, mentally, emotionally.
