Rode the bike to church with my 10 yo – VBS Week. Came home and went back out 2 hours later to get her. Total of 7 miles. Nice cool day, windy.
I will surely feel this tomorrow!

I don’t have a vehicle today so I’m running errands on my bike. I’ve not gone out when it’s been this cold. In the low 40’s right now.
Trying to decide how to dress.
- I was headed out on a “just because” ride. Because the bike was there, I was here, I needed exercise. I decided to bike to the store. Got within blocks of it, couldn’t think of anything I really needed. So, I kept going. 5.17 miles later I was home. The last mile or so was hard, peddling against the wind. Uggh.
Not sure if I’ll head out again today, or go for a walk/jog.
Yesterday I dragged the kids on a further excursion. We had to return a movie to blockbuster which is a couple of miles from the house. Rewarded them with lemonade at a local establishment. They then wanted to go to a library that’s in the area – so we peddled further!
I need to make sure that I combine errand running with a fun stop. To keep them interested in biking.
It also helps that it wasn’t terribly hot & humid. We’ve had one hot summer.
last Monday. The kids & I biked a total of 15 miles last week. Library run, farmers market, card store, a friends house…
I’d like to have a goal of 20 miles per week. Getting the kids to go further & further with each ride.
