So I finally decided to make a twitter to tie into my book blog, The Book Bark. I will also receive a grade on my blog at the end of the semester for my freelance writing class. Attaching a Twitter to the blog was one of the things I talked about doing in my essay about the blog at Midterms, so I figured I couldn’t really put it off any longer. Finals begin on May 9th! Woohoo!

I focus on science-fiction and fantasy books and also cover industry related news-bits in publishing.
Twitter is one of those big buzz things right now in the publishing industry (and in many other fields I’m assuming). As someone who works in publishing and a writer I feel like it would behoove me to get a handle on this strange culture.
And it is its own little internet culture, with it’s own little rules, quirks, and social behaviors. It’s a little bizarre to me right now. I’m used to blogging, but this is unlike anything of the sort.
One day I’d like to twitter somewhat more professionally, but until I get used to remembering that I have a damn twitter account to tweet to, it will be filled with useless inane blather that I’m sure you don’t want to hear about. :p
