So I realize that I had made this goal my summer project. It is now nearly the end of autumn and I have yet to give an update.
I was really loyal about running and walking this summer. Less so about the free weights and crunches. Work though has given me quite the workout. In marketing, we get a lot of books and I seem to always be trucking stacks of books to various functions. With the onset of colder weather, I’m hoping the long winter months don’t undo all my hard work. I’m not that far off from feeling like I’ve completed this goal. We’ll see about it in the spring time. Maybe I can find the motivation in me to stick to a routine and work on my abs.

I’ve started walking daily as a way of getting away from my thesis. The weather has just been so gorgeous, I had to go outside.
I’m really going to try to commit to this goal this summer. I bought a set of eight pound free weights yesterday which is good. I’m hoping that since I spent money on this now, I’ll be more likely to follow through on it.

This was a summer goal that again didn’t happen…or rather almost didn’t happen. With all the walking I do in the city, my legs are looking good. The rest…well, let’s just say I won’t be lifting any tables anytime soon.
Anyway, I’m making this an extended goal now.
