I talked my mother into teaching me to knit on my last visit around Christmas. I’m starting on placemats and dishcloths, then an afghan, then I hope to get to socks. I know everyone starts with scarves, but its so hot in Texas – who needs ‘em? I am going to knit this Sunday with a group, and I hope to finish my second placemat of four.
