After a long break from concerts after ACL, I finally saw another Austin legend: Ghostland Observatory. The duo of front man Aaron Behrens and producer/drummer Thomas Turner had an amazing record release party at the Austin Music Hall. The concert was a non-stop dance party. It is impossible to go to their show and not break it down. Special guest UT Marching Band rocked out to the song The Band Marches On. Their live show is something every music fan needs to see, and i’m so glad i got the chance! Next up is SXSW!!!!

I live in the live music capital of the world, and i want to take advantage of all the opportunities to see bands here in Austin. Last thursday i went to the Mute Math concert with a friend, and it was AMAZING!! They have such fantastic stage presence, you get caught up in their energy. The other two bands (the Cinematics and Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin) were just as great. I hope to see them again, but in the mean time, I’ve got to buy my tickets for ACL!!!
