I’m now seeing this goal more as a continous goal, as adding new items mean I have to get rid of old ones. The last month I have given 2 bags of clothes to the Salvation Army, and I have another one that is half full at home. Getting there…

Cleaning out my closet...

I’ve done this goal half way, having gone through a few shelves. I brought a bag to the Salvation Army outlet a few weeks ago, which felt good. I’ve put on some weight the last 6 months due to my medication, which on the one hand really sucks (I’ve been the same size for the last 10 years) but also means that I have an excuse to get rid of what doesn’t fit me. Unfortunately it’s hard for me, as I find things I a) hope will fit me if I lose my extra kilos, and b) “Hm, perhaps I can make something from this?”
I’ve put a bag in our bedroom where I collect whatever I’m not keeping. I just need to be more strict with myself.

Oh my...

I keep putting this off, as I hate getting rid of clothes – in particular now when I see the potential of recons in everything…I went shopping on Saturday, buying some new clothes that had to be squeezed into my closet. Not good.
I keep waiting to be inspired to do this, but I guess that won’t be happening anytime soon.
