Did 3 miles total yesterday, 5 minute walk/jog warmup, ran pretty hard for 20 minutes, then 5 minute cooldown on the treadmill.
Felt good but boy am I sore today, planning to do an easy run tomorrow, just trying to get over being sore.

I’m in the Navy so you would think I would be in shape but I’m probably at the lowest point athletically in my life. With my job, working on my MBA, my wife and kids fitness is no longer a priority like it should be.
In highschool I could run it in 5 minutes and 1.5 miles in under 8. Last physical fitness test in October I ran 1.5 in 10:50 and haven’t run since. Would like to get that number down to 9:00 by May which would require a 6 minute mile. Guess I better get started.
