Ladies,
Thanks to all who responded for the ideas, it’s a good week to get me started with Valentines coming up.
I’m working on the note thing, also I went and purchased my wife’s favorite perfume for Valentines and then yesterday I took her to Dillards shopping. I’m usually a cheapskate so she was pretty suprised when I said to just pick out what you want. Definetly noticed a big change at the end of the day, she was all smiles.

My wife says I’m not romantic and a little boring. We’ve been married almost 6 years, have two kids (6 and 4). She is a homemaker and I’m a navy officer. Work keeps me busy most of the time and along with that I’m working on an MBA so I know it’s not an excuse but I am very busy and know I don’t pay her enough attention. Plus the fact that when I do have time I’m so sick of working I just like to sit around and watch a movie. Along with the fact that right now we are stationed at a very small base with a town that has not much more than a McDonald’s and a Walmart so I’m struggling with trying to make time and do things that she would find romantic.
My ideas right now are to write her little notes at least once a week. Get a babysitter once a month for a date night (but no ideas what to do on the date)
Just bought her flowers last week (My 1st step).
I know she still loves me but doesn’t find me exciting anymore.
