79. Helped this chick w/ her schoolwork

I helped this fat chick with a laboratory prac that ive already done. She was stuck at this problem for nearly 3 hours. She was quite hesitant to ask me I think due to my unnapproachable nature but desperation got the best of her. I showed her the way I did it and I swear to God Ive never seen anyone so happy over school work lol. It made me real glad too, I was stuck on the same problem about a week ago. She was all smiles and that made me real happy :D

I fucking swear being a loner and depressed most of the time makes me appreciate the smallest of things.

I wish i took my time with explaining how/why I fixed the problem instead of just handing her the answer, nerves got the best of me.

80. A real fucking test

I came across a very expensive men’s wool jacket. Its grey and it has a really modern/hip design. Aside from being stunning to look at, it feels amazing and super warm. Ive never owned a clothing item this high quality and im seriously pondering of not turning it in and just keeping this one for myself. I know its wrong, but I just want this one so bad.

I know for a fact that a lot of L&F items never get collected/retrieved but someone must be looking for this one.
At the same time, there are alot of people at the L&F place that could easily just claim that it belonged to them.

I might just leave my number there with a description of the jacket. Maybe hang on to it till the owner calls me? or if he does at all.

Fuark man. Wish i had money to buy things like this.

.81. returned an umbrella

I sat down to do my work today in the computer room and found this lonely black umbrella.

I thought of turning it in tomorrow with the intention of using it today because the weather’s taking a turn for the shitstorm.

But on the second thought the other person might need it too, + a tiny umbrella wont do much against 50k winds.

Let a dude

use my laptop so he could transfer funds because hes stuck in a busstop.

Cleaned the church

Helped the old man clean and set the chairs for the church.

Ive never liked going to church when i was growing up and made it a point to never return as soon as I was done.

It felt strange going to the basement, where the youth used to hangout. It had been neglected for years. The pool tables were covered in dust, pool sticks strewn everywhere. The cueballs had a yellow tinge to them. It felt dead, like there was no spirit there anymore. I couldnt help wonder if the fate of the church was heading in the same direction, as less and less people come.

Gave away this fossil to a classmate

We were up in a limestone quarry up in the hills breaking rocks and digging for fossils.

i found a couple of good ones, bivalve shells from 200 million years ago. Theyre not rare but are difficult to extract if you dont have brute force.

This malaysian girl in my class was real small in stature and couldnt lift a hammer to save her life lol

And so I gave her one of mine.

Later on that week she gave me a piece of her chocolate bar. Everyone else will probably dismiss that act as something small, mundane and insignificant but not me. I cant remember the last time a stranger give me anything out of charity or out of anything.

/renewed faith in people.

Gave away a piece of rare rock to my tutor for his birthday

I found some malachite in a river, its a very rare rock, the reason the place was a mining town back in the 1800’s.

Noone else found any piece, god knows how long that rock lay unperturbed, probably hundreds of years.

I was planning on keeping it the gem that it was, but later that week they threw a surprise birthday for my tutor. That person was very helpful to everyone in more ways than one and so I decided to give it to him. I just handed it over, before I could hesitate. ~He was very pleased to have it!

I was sad to see it go, Ill probably never find another piece in my lifetime.

Ill have to find another rare rock, Azurites are incredibly hard to find and beautiful too.

Gave up my seat for a mom and her 2 daughters
