write a song

This took awhile, partly because im never happy about the parts I write. Its always a love/hate relation with writing. But so far Ive come up with a piece Im reasonably happy with. There will be other opportunities to write so I shouldnt be torturing myself to get this sounding perfect because well it will never be. I really want to have this done before the New Year comes. :)

Continued my work again tonight. My mind feels tired now but it was real good, I came up with some pretty good ideas.

its only over a minute long but theres so much going on in there, Me thinks Ill have to do lots of editing to make it sound smooth and not ‘hurried’

Ive been working on a postrock song, its coming along quite nicely. I have a lot of free time at the moment so I have been just focusing on playing guitar and generally just improving as a muso.
Its been a pretty good night tonight, Ive camped out in my mum’s garage. I moved my guitar and recording equipment here and Ive just been listening to music and jamming, coming up with ideas to finish this song.

I have tons of ideas and i have them recorded I just have trouble piecing them together. Im getting way better though and its just a matter of time before I complete one!

the goal is to have a song recorded by the end of this year, Im gonna post it here so you people can hear it first!
