But would like to start making small payments. I’m not really sure how to do that though. I would like to make payments towards specific loans, so I can see them disapearing, but I’m not sure how.
Bah.
I’m also confused about loan consolidation. I am not sure if I’ll still be eligible for certain benefits I am currently eligible for. Example: Deferments, possible loan forgiveness for teaching in low income schools, etc.
I found out today, when I needed to start repaying my loans, which was 29 days ago. I have a temporary deferment, so that’s good.
