I feel I`m done with this goal. My attitude towards mornings changed completely – I`m still a bit of a morning moaner and there`s lots to be done, but I really learnt to enjoy the little things and make more of those early hours. I`m particulary proud of breakfasts – not all of them are perfect, but I`m really getting better at preparing and eating ;o) It even makes me feel excited – all this planning what to eat the next day :o)

You know that feeling when you discover something new and deliciouls and you keep on eating the same thing over and over, day by day, until you get sick of it?
I discovered orange marmelade.
And I`m lost.
Not writing much about this goal, but still doing fine :o) However, I`m not confident enough to mark this as done since I keep on discovering new improvements about my morning routine. Ten additional minutes, thanks to getting up early, are my recent discovery – it`s unbelievable how such a small amount of time can influence my mornings. Suddenly it seems like I have additional hour :o)
Oh longer weekends how I adore you! Due to yesterdays visit at my eye doctor I took a day off. I usually don`t see well after such visits so going to the office would be pointless. She (Doc) made me even more aware that limiting the computer is a good idea – not that I didn`t know that, but seeing the results got me a bit worried – my eyes seem to be very tired..
Right now – I`m sitting on a couch, wrapped in a worm blanket, watching CSI:NY and peeking with one eye what BH is doing – beakfast pancakes with caramelised orange! YUM!
I may have lost track while counting the mornings but, oh well – the happy know no hours :o) As expected – going on vacation helped me a lot to discover the beauty of mornings and see the things beyond the ordinary. We got up before 8am which is quite unusual when you don`t have to go to work – no TV, no Internet, no computer, it changed my point of view. These mornings had an impact on my recent schedule – I`ve decided to limit the time I spend on surfing the net and watching TV – checking on Facebook and visiting 43T just once a day, quitting the celebrity gossip sites, and asking myself a question BEFORE I turn the TV on : `Do I have anything interesting to watch?`.
Things are changing.
PS. Todays breakfast was sponsored by buns with plums (I`ve just realized how cute this sounds ;o) ,watermelon and white tea!
Oh there`s nothing better than a weekend that lasts 3 days! I finally had enough time to get some sleep and enjoy true, lazy breakfasts.. some of them in bed thanks to Bh ;o) The past month made me realize than there ARE breakfastst other than those consisting of cake, tea and muffins. I still have mornings with them though – I`ve made delicious muffins with gooseberries yesterday so the goal became even harder ;o)... Next week we`re starting 2 week long holidays so hopefully my morning habits become even better!
Last days were quite exhausting for me – constant sitting after hours at work made me feel really tired.. Fortunately new breakfasts are playing their role very good, they give me far more energy than those I used to eat. And that`s what I need right now – tomorrow is .. working Saturday.
When it comes to other points of my morning routine – I`m rather consequent when it comes to walking to the office, even despite the weather – it`s time most cloudy, stormy summer ever here! I`ve also re-discovered the joy of creating office fashion and right now it`s something more than just t-shirt and jeans ;o)
I also have one new habit – reading newsaper/magazine. I used to do this before but it wasn`t as regular as it became now and I must say – I really enjoy this new point in the morning schedule.
There`s a progress. Cereals, yoghurt, bun with poppy, cottage cheese, tomatoes, toasts, orange juice – I`m discovering the magic of a proper breakfast and all the good things it can bring.
I`ve also came back to the habit of taking care of myself more in the morning. I used to do fancy (I mean `office fancy` not `porn fancy`) make up and hair, but after the times got more stresfull – I couldn`t force myself to enjoy little things like eyeliner or braids.
I think it may be the weather, summer and perspective of 2 weeks of holidays that got me in this mood. Well – if it works, it can`t be wrong.
Cereals, yoghurt and blackberries for breakfast, and managed to eat it all which is a huge success since I have this stupid morning eating disorder :o)
I`ve also made some preparations for tomorrow – bought cottage cheese, bread and tomatoes. Preparing breakfast becomes easier when you have fun with it and put a little bit of effort to plan the following morning… can`t wait for tomorrow :o)

Not a single exercise.
Going to work on foot – hardly ever due the weather.
I won`t even mention positive thinking.
Today was a little better – I`ve had cereals for beakfast but was so stressed out that could barely eat… I also decided to leave the car at home, although the weather was really bad. It did me quite well.
sigh.
But I`ve found an inspiration. A blog by a girl who takes photos of her every breakfast. They all look so delicious! If other people can learn how to enjoy something so simple as breakfast – I can do to!
