I tend to agree with Peter Rabbit on this one.
I had a gorgeous bowl of freshly picked baby lettuces for lunch today, about 4 cups worth at least, tossed with Pink Lady Apple, Carrot, Blue Cheese and some yogurt dressing. I now need a long sweet nap or a big cup of coffee.
Breakfast smoothie – goji berry, blueberry, kefir, omega 3/6/9 oil
grapefruit, I forgot I ate a grapefruit. They make me think about Venus. :D
I’m craving red meat, so I’m thinking about grilling for dinner, drinking some wine, eating more of those lettuces and sleeping until Saturday comes.
Mahinui, that’s my version of a plate of shredded kale. ;)

Spinach, Ricotta, red onion and mozzarella hand tossed crispy pizza, 3 slices, and an ice cold Hoegaarden on draft with a wedge of lemon.
Dang, now that I read it, I’m disappointed. Its true, I guess now I’ve finally, truly crossed over from the Nutritional Darkside, into the light. My worst nutritional days are still pretty decent. I’ve come a long way since eating entire pints of Ben and Jerry’s after a dinner of Taco Hell.

The schedule was all out of whack with the long day at the Dr.’s office, stressed out and tired, so I didn’t prepare, didn’t cook anything.
skipped breakfast, had a side of stress, at a fast food chicken sammy for lunch and Taco Hell for dinner. Didn’t sleep well. Today, it feels like my insides are coated in waxy fat. I’m excessively thirsty. I feel like shit on a stick.
Funny how once you know what really feeling good is like, feeling bad is far, far worse. And to think this used to be normal. ick. Well, fine, that’s behind me, on to getting back to the good stuff.

Emergen-C and a lakeful of water, first thing, to counteract the dehydrating effects of the river of vodka I consumed last night at the birthday gig. The vodka was not organic, but it was good.
Espresso, currently on shot numero tres.
a bananna
thinking about steel cut oatmeal and eggs

One organic Moka something or `nuther whole food bar
water
2 shots espresso, neat and straight
a cluster of red grapes and the last ounce of a divine wedge of Stilton .
60 oz of water, during and after one helluva ride.
A Red Bull! wtf possessed me? oh yeah, that last big hill.
Dinner, roasted veggies: leeks, new potatoes, sweet potatoes and garlic. Chicken, roughly massaged with garam masala rub and roasted with some orange zest. Freshly picked mesclun mix, and a shot of arugula for bite.

Friend called to cancel lunch, his new girlfriend couldn’t make it so lunch cocktails will have to wait until Thursday.
Instead, I resisted the urge to bail myself out quickly w/ fast food and ran down to the grocer for some healthier mojo rotissere chicken and a bowl of fruit – pineapple, kiwi, strawberries…YUM!

I got a pocket, got a pocketful of sunshine. God, its a gorgeous day.
Today, I needed a little indulgence for breakfast, so I stopped by the coffee house and picked up a four shot sugar free caramel latte and a cinnamon roll with espresso tinged icing. MMMmmm.
Lunch, eating out at a local cantina, probably a salad and seared spicy beef but, I might even sneak in a prickly pear margarita mid day on the patio, in the sunshine and cool air.
snack, a homemade protein bar from the lady down the street…whey protein, peanut butter, barley, tricale, applesauce, nuts, blueberries and a bunch of other good stuff in there, she’s a bad ass when it comes to cool fitness oriented snack recipes. I’m too lazy to make my own.
Dinner, something involving chicken, spinach, homemade pesto and pasta.
