sing in a choir again

I went to audition for my community choir. I sight read well, and though I don’t have an astounding solo voice, I am a solid member of a choir. Anyway….I auditioned, and they told me they were “concerned” about my projection. Ugh. I don’t need a blow to the only part in my life that I have an ego about. Even though they are “concerned,” I can still join them and ask them for advice on how to improve. Just when I thought I could finally want to do something. Oh well, we’ll see.

Since my husband was killed 18 months ago, I have not been able to sing. Maybe it’s time now that I join a choir, and give it a try again. I used to love to sing, I was good at it, but it’s hard to sing while grieving. Well, I’m going to try.
