Take a photo every day

Between spring break, having exams at school, and starting a new job I haven’t been able to take many pictures or get onto this site. However, this is one that I took while in Progresso, Mexico. Let me tell ya, the shopping is so great there! Cheap, and barganing with the street vendors is really an art. I was quite good at it by the end of my trip :) The pic I’ve posted is of my friend Sarah (in the red tank top) barganing with a Mexican street vendor carrying her small child in a ‘papoose’-like rigging. I love it!

Here are three of my cousins enjoying some cake and ice cream while visiting this Saturday at my parent’s house.

This is my friend Sarah’s pet ferret. His name is boogie because when he runs he looks more like he’s dancing than anything else :) He’s really cute and gets into everything…including my purse.

I couldn’t come up with anything good for Thursday…so, I’m gonna try and get a really good pic for today :)

I recently decided I wanted some quad roller skates…you know, the traditional roller skate. I was shocked to find that Academy had just the roller skates I had been eyeing online :) So, I snatched them up and went straight over to the nearby park. I had about an hour before my class, so I strapped em on and rolled around the 1/2 mile paved sidewalk loop. Took my camera along to shoot some pics of the park and my new skates. It was very nostalgic :)Lovely.

Wow, I thought I lived in the big city of Beaumont, but apparently country came to town! lol I was driving down the street to my apartment, and out of nowhere I see a rooster on the side of the street next to someone’s fence. Who knows where the little guy came from or where he was going, but he was really pretty so, I snagged a pic of him before he ran off.

Visited my parents this Saturday. It was a nice visit, and upon leaving I noticed that some neighborhood kids played a prank on someone and their tennis shoes :)

Friday I went over to my friend Shawn’s house to chill and catch Battlestar Galactica….yep we’re nerds :) Anyway, I got this pic of her pet rats that she lets run around. The light colored one with its paw on my foot is named Whitie and the other one’s name is Lucas. (She has another one named squirel, but he ran out of the picture…camera shy.)They are really good pets, as long as you make sure they can’t get to the food and they don’t chew on too many electrical cords :)
