very easy to read through, wonderful writing although it jumps around a lot; it was hard to keep track of time. i read that it was like a feminist salinger but i though it was completely different. holden’s illness is not his identity whereas esther beocmes obsessed with her depression and feeling sorry for herself. interesting, good quotes.
