I took my first lesson at Poole Harbour a couple of weeks ago- I was seriously unbalanced, fell off the board about a billion times and was very battered and bruised after, but finally stood up which was awesome. It’s definately a case of plenty practise and determination!
Can’t wait for the next lesson!...
Tips so far…
1. Use a full length wetsuit if you suspect, like me, that you will spend the majority of your 1st 3hr lesson on your knees! Shorty wetsuit = severe bruising to the knees and shins!
2. Don’t be deterred if you’re rubbish – Keep at it! :o)
