I “fed the pig” a little over $3 in change! Doesn’t sound like much, but it’s definitely giving the beach house fund a jump start! :) Yea!

I found a quarter! 25 cents to contribute to the beach house fund!

I found a penny today. Another contribution to the beach house piggy bank! :)

I added a dollar. It wasn’t on the ground, but was unexpectedly given, so I decided to add it to the fund.

Found and added 21 cents to the fund this weekend. :)

This may seem ridiculous, but it makes me smile. It’s progress, however small!

I added 43 cents to my piggy bank on Tuesday – I found that much lying around all in one day. Can you believe it? 43 cents…must be a sign of some sort. ;)

Hope the beach house doesn’t wind up being $43 million… :D

Every time I see change on the ground, I can’t help but pick it up. So now I have a piggy bank where I deposit this change! Is that funny? That’s my dedicated “beach house fund”. It may take a while, but I feel like I’m slowly saving toward a goal that’s important to me. Unfortunately, that’s all I can afford to give up at this point, but on the plus side, it makes me take more walks…

Eventually, I’ll deposit the change into a special savings account for the beach house. I should probably add 2 pennies to every penny I find, though…that’s what insurance will wind up costing me in the end. chuckle
