Well I am writing in a blog, and identifying my strengths and weaknesses, which is helping me build stronger ethics because I analyze myself and see the consequences of my actions and feel them more deeply as I write them down.

I just complete this book, and it has helped me realize many things. The biggest point I struggle with is listening to people intently when I am having a conversation with them. I always think about other things that are complicating my life and then jump back to attention when they are finished talking so I can say “uh huh” to sound like I was listening. I do this all the time with out realizing it, but I feel the pain that I am being rude when it does happen. I am going to work on this and it will be a little sub goal for being a better person.
I want to become and add the things that make me a better person, not take away the things that don’t. From my perspective, if you work on the small picture things in life, all the big picture things will fall in to place.
If I can add positive things to my life to become a better person, (forgiveness, kindness, helping people in need) then eventually, the anger, rudeness, selfish ways, and bad habits would wash away.
My first task will be to pay it forward, as said in another goal, and that will be a great start to being a better person. In my eyes, all people are good people. They don’t become good, they are good. And I am not going to become a better person, I am going to be one!
