I’m down 10 pounds!

I'm down again! 3 years ago

Apparently, my weigh-in day is at a peak during the week. On Sunday, I had lost weight from the previous week—in spite of being around constant food and indulging.

On Monday, I had actually lost weight.

But on Wednesday (my official day), I was back to where I had been on Sunday.

However, today I have lost again—and I haven’t been at this weight since January of last year! Here’s to keeping the downward trend.

My first weigh-in using Weight Watchers shows a 4 lb loss!!!! This is with the Super Bowl and eating at Culvers and the fact that this is my bloating time.

I feel great!

The goal was to lose 30 pounds, but according to many health books, I should probably target 40. Hey, if I think I’m getting to the right size for me at around 130-135, I’ll stop there.

I’ve joined Weight Watchers to help me with this goal. I was not doing well just by food journaling on my own. I’m using their flex plan—and so far so good. Tomorrow is my first weigh-in day.

I have lost 2.6 pounds so far—mostly from watching what I’m eating and some water weight.

Okay, not so good on this one. I weighed myself on Sunday and was up to 170 lbs, which means that I would like to lose about 40 pounds now. I’m not going to change the task because it’s primarily the same thing—I want to weigh 130.

In keeping with that, I’ve been very good both yesterday and today about logging my foods and drinking lots of water. I haven’t been hungry and I haven’t had cravings. I ate a bowl of cereal for breakfast and made some tomato juice (with a dash of carrot and cucumber—must remember to peel the cucumber next time!). Lunch was a salmon caesar salad, and dinner was hamburger helper. Snacks were a banana, an apple, half a bag of M&Ms from yesterday and some cheese. Seriously not bad.

I didn’t focus on exercise-although I opted to walk to the book club-because I want my primary focus to be on what I eat right now. I will continue to exercise, but it won’t be a priority until next week.

I feel very good today—and I’ve learned that my body does not like white chocolate raspberry mochas in spite of what my tongue says.
