I have a 5k race this weekend, and I have the most horrible cold right now. I don’t want to walk, much less run! I’m hoping I feel all better come Saturday so I can run well. If not, that’s ok, I’ll just keep working on my goal.

1 lap walking/jogging to warm up, chatted a bit, then 4 laps jogging to warm up, some stretching, then 400s.
Run 400 yds at pace (2:28), then 1 recovery lap jogging
Run 400 yds at pace (2:40), then 1 recovery lap walking
Run 400 yds at pace (2:31), then 1 recovery lap walking
Run 400 yds at pace (2:26), then cool-down lap walking.
13 laps total. 4 laps = 1 mile.
Stretched when I got home. I feel great. Pretty happy with my pushing-it pace, and no asthma attacks! A good workout.
It would be easier to do this if I hadn’t left my running shoes someplace! I have to go pick them up so I can do a track workout tonight. I will do my workout! I missed Monday, so I have to focus and get back on track.
