Another week of tracking all my food religiously and staying in plan and… I’m back to where I started three weeks ago. What am I doing wrong? I don’t eat a lot of junk food, I cook most of my meals, I eat brown rice and fruits and veggies and tofu (ok, not quite as many veggies as I’d like…) and eggs and chicken and I’m at a TOTAL LOSS. I’m trying so hard, and doing all the right things, and… nothing.

Feeling pretty discouraged about this right now. For the past two weeks I have tracked my food carefully, stayed on plan (Weight Watchers) and yet… I weight more now than I did two weeks ago. How is that possible? It feels like I’ll NEVER lose the rest of the weight…
Since I put this goal up I have lost 16 lbs. I still should lose about 20 lbs to get down to a healthy weight, but I am so excited! I haven’t been under 150 lbs in… over four years. Sometimes I feel like my weight loss is so so slow… but I’m also changing my habits, so that I will keep it off. Overall, I’m really proud of myself right now.
I’ve started writing down everything I eat and the portions, so that I can at least know what I am eating. I figure it’s a good way to get started, and at least make conscious choices.
