Shoulder is ok to go, so with a new year comes a new start. I will do day 1 week 1 starting tomorrow.
I gave up on this goal for a while, because my shoulder was just in no shape to do anything, but my shoulder is a lot better now, so this goal is going back on the list!
I hurt my shoulder during aerials, so I haven’t been allowed to do push-ups for the last week-and-a-half. Well, to be honest, I was behind schedule on this goal anyway, but I’m definitely not going to make it in time. I am still working a lot on strength though, and hopefully my shoulder will recover soon!
Now I need to figure out a charity… I think I want one that encourages physical exercise! That seems appropriate.
Looks like a local charity is going to be getting $50… I have however made progress. I haven’t been very good about doing the program, but I’m up to 15 push-ups now, which is progress, albeit slower than I’d prefer.
50 by mid-July. that means no slacking, no inconsistency! I’m printing out the next few weeks and taking them with me on travel. Hell or high water I’m hitting it by my goal!
I want to be consistent—do my three days a week. Gains may be slow, but if I keep at it they will come.
Right?
I kind of let this lapse… but thanks to the recent cheers I am reminded of starting this up again-so today back to week 1 day 1 of 100 push-ups. This time I plan to stick with it! :-)

Despite the title of the program, I don’t really feel an overwhelming need to do 100 push-ups, 50 will do me quite well. ;-)
I don’t really need to do 100 push-ups in a row, but I figured starting the 100 push-ups program would give me some structure to help me with my goal. I did the initial test today. 2 push-ups, if I do regular push-ups. I haven’t tried the modified push-ups, because I want to be able to do 50 regular push-ups. Well, everyone has to start someplace, right? At least I can do an unmodified push-up now! I didn’t use to be able to.
