Really want to, but there's a gap... 3 years ago

I’m still more or less where I was last time I wrote this.

Problem is I am really in too expensive a house for someone in my income bracket. A long story, but not a forever one.

To be, ah, not morbid but truthful, this will be a problem until my 96 year old aunt and/or my 91-year-old mother shuffle off this mortal coil.

My poor little IRA. I don’t even come CLOSE to maxing it… I haven’t fed it in years… last year I even had to take money out of it! Nor do I look after it, with an attentive, intelliogent mix of investments.

It is time for me to deal with this, step by step by step (and with other financial matters as well). I know enough and have experienced enough to be sure that if I have problems in this area, then I also have, or am capable of having, solutions…

It’s time for increasing self-awareness and action. Not kicking the kitty litter over it!
