This goal speaks to me of acknowledging where I’m at. To choose awareness over denial. To choose to be aware of how I actually feel and experience the life I’ve created around me, instead of fearing the future, or fretting about the past.
By being aware of the present moment, I can choose to change it for the better.
Following the guidelines from Paul McKenna’s I Can Make You Thin really made it obvious for me how much time I spend not focused on the physical sensations I’m experiencing in the present moment. It really changed my ability to simply enjoy a moment in time for what it is, instead of constantly focusing on something else in the past or future.
This also applies to just being aware the life I’ve created. It seems to me that it’s not so much learning how to live in the moment for me, it’s more just remembering to make the choice to do it.
