I hate facebook, I know I’m in the minority here. I’d rather twitter if anything. Despite the fact I’m not on the best social networking site on the internet, people still find me. A buddy of mine reached out to me after 5 years… it was cool to catch up. Friends are really important and it’s amazing to find out the type of impact you’ve made on people over the years.

... so I have “caught up” with some people from WAY BACK.
Hung out with an old friend in Vegas … and, quite frankly, after meeting his wife, I’m practically giddy to have re-kindled this friendship. We have so much in common.
There are other friends I have reached out to that I find we’ve drifted apart a little bit but it’s still good catching up.
And there are others, still that while much distance may seperate us – we stay in touch so frequently that it feels like they’re right here.
Yup, keep your good friends close is definitely a smart move.
My life has become so busy I barely have time to answer work emails much less personal ones. And I believe you have longer and longer amounts of time between responses and eventually you just stop responding. Stop calling. Stop making a point to stay in touch with people. That’s not cool.
Thought I’d send an email to a few friends from “back in the day” and see what’s up. Let’s see what happens.
