Level 3 starts tonight. I have the same tutor as last time which is good news and I believe a few of the old crowd from level 2 have signed up again as well, so it could be quite a reunion!

I’m now into week 3 of 10 for Level 2 German. I have a different tutor to last time and I think I prefer her teaching methods more than the previous tutor.
I have also found this great website which not only helps you learn German, but many other languages as well. www.busuu.com
This week I completed my 10 week Beginners German class. I found it really good overall and I plan to sign up to the Beginners Plus course in July.
...hopefully it won’t get cancelled again like last time!
F bought me this set a few months back now. I have started listening to the CDs and working through the books. It’s so hard to find the time to sit down and do it though. (I feel like I’m always complaining about not having enough time to do things!) I’ve loaded all my German podcasts and CDs onto my ipod so I can listen to them while I am traveling around SE Asia for the next month. Will be interesting to see how much sinks in!
I found a free German podcast on itunes which I have subscribed to. I did the first two lessons today. It seems to be good so far, and there is a website to refer to and PDFs of vocabulary to download as well.
...in learning German. But a week before it started I got an email saying the course was cancelled due to lack of numbers. How frustrating!
F has given me a couple of books, one that includes a CD, and a German dictionary to help me with my German. Now I just need to make the time!
I want to learn German since I can’t take a course on Swiss German. Even though Swiss German is what I really want to learn, if I have a basic knowledge in German, then theorectically I should be able to understand more when I go to Switzerland to visit my boyfriend’s family and friends, as the written language over there is German.
