I sold another drawing the other day. It was another commission. (My friend asked me to do a drawing of her and her husband as a first wedding anniversary gift to him.)
I still haven’t touched a paintbrush though! It WILL happen, one day, when the time is right. I can’t rush the whole painting thing – I’ve tried before and it just didn’t work. I will start painting again when it feels right to do so, and at the moment it doesn’t. I’m not worried about it anymore because I know it will happen when I’m good and ready!

I sold my first ever artwork today. Ok, so it’s not a painting, just a sketch of a dog that a friend asked me to draw for her, but I’m still really chuffed about it! It has really helped boost my confidence and makes me want to draw a lot more! :-)

A friend at work has asked me to do a drawing for her for one of her family members. I’m quite excited about it, I just hope it turns out. She said she would pay for it too. This could possibly be the first piece of art I sell… It’s not a painting, just a pencil sketch, but at this early stage, everything counts!
