I’m putting this goal on hold for a bit. I found out some information through my mum, and it was quite sad stuff really, and mum said that if I go round my extended family (who I only met for the first time this year) I might offend or upset them by asking questions, so I’m not sure if I should continue right now.

I’ve found a free online site where I can build my family tree. I’ve added the information that I know already and am in the process of asking family members what they know so I can build on that.

Family I never knew I had 3 years ago

I have recently met my extended family for the first time after 26 years. I’m interested now in doing my family tree and learning more about the family members that died before I got a chance to meet them.
