Cycle the Pan-American Highway

I stumbled across a website of an 18-year old kid from California who did this all on his own, from the top of Alaska to the tip of Chile in around 270 days. I’d want to take longer to have more time for side-trips, likely 18 months and I think I’d lose my mind going solo – just need to convince someone else to quit their job and make the trek!
