can I make search engines find my personal page?
So here is the background: my former school doesn’t let me update the page I have on their site anymore, so I copied everything into a google page, hoping that it would work instead. But now the old page still has traffic, and search engines don’t find the new updated one (I even manually submitted it to web crawlers, but “there is no guarantee” that they will visit it).
What should I do? Give up?
My current lease is about finished, and I’d rather move from my current place. Now there are two cases to consider:
1. Continue to live on my own or find a housemate?
(privacy/freedom to make a mess out of my living place versus being more social, maybe?)
2. Live in a house or in an apartment/condo in a complex?
(I’ve never lived in a house… how different is it?)
I do know that I can’t have somebody else make the decision for me, but I’d appreciate your suggestions/opinion.
