Given up on my challenge :-)  — 3 weeks ago

I’ve given up on the chlallenge two days ago (and haven’t eaten chocolate since! hehe… but it’s not that difficult because at my grandmother’s there is not much chocolate anyway), but I don’t want to give up on the goal altogether. I still think tragus piercings look awesome (a few months ago I got all worked up about a daith and a conch and all that, but I’ve sort of grown out of it and realize that tragus is the only cartilage piercing I actually want) and will probably get one eventually. But not after at least a year. I want to get my belly button first (and I’ve challenged myself to it, as you can see), and I want it to heal and all. Maybe, if I get to go to America for a year, maybe I’ll get my tragus pierced there, so it will be a memory of the trip. I don’t know, but I’ll probably have to be really really brave because tragus piercings are said to be super painful, whereas people generally describe navel piercings as relatively painless. Besides, I know I just can’t stand to see another girl with a pierced belly button, I know I will just start screaming “WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANT”. lol

Putting this off for a while  — 8 months ago

I knew I wanted to do it in February or March, but I decided to put it off til end of August/beginning of September (so I’ll still complete my challenge! he he!).
The reason is that we have English and German lab at university, where you have to wear hugianic headphones… and I seriously doubt that a totally fresh tragus piercing will apreciate it. And I don’t see myself raising my hand and saying: “Excuse me, I can’t do your stupid exercice, I have a fresh tragus piercing”. So I decided to do my belly button when I turn 18 (this one is not a problem for school at all lol). In the end of August I’ll do the tragus, school usually starts in October. I know that a cartilage piercing doesn’t heal within a month, I’m not dumb, but in general after a month you’re allowed to listen to your Ipod, so I guess it’s the same for English lab headphones (at least I hope so). Right now I’m getting excited about my belly button lol

Another idea  — 10 months ago

Well, now I have another idea. I’ve talked to my mom about getting my tragus pierced and she didn’t faint or anything. She seemed to accept that. But she was like “I’m scared when you like something like that, because you tend to be really obsessed about stuff”. Honestly. As if I was some kind of freak who would pierce her face in 100 places. I promised her: no face piercings, because of the problems to get a job. So when I turn 18 and I won’t need her consent, I’ll just go and get my tragus pierced (I can’t wait!!!) without telling her. It will also be interesting to see how long it’ll take her to notice that I have a piercing.

Challenge  — 10 months ago

My personal challenge! I want to do this when I move out of my mother’s house, which will be in less than a year. I think pierced traguses are sooooo pretty!!! It’s not that my mother doesn’t want me to get a piercing or anything, I’m sure she’d be okay, but when I asked her about a second hole in my ear lobes, she said yes, but she made such a scared face that I felt sorry for her. She was too scared that it might be painful for me, do you imagine? So if she made a face like that just with the ear lobes, I don’t know what kind of face she might make if I ask her about the tragus. So I’d rather protect her :-)
