An update. 2 years ago

Six months ago I told you all about me starting my weight gain diet and promised I’d tell you how it went. Here is an update :

Unfortunately my diet did not go as planned. Eating 3,500-4,000 calories is not easy for me. I’m a naturally small eater. I have my families naturally high metabolism. Finally I’m an industrial construction worker, one of the harshest jobs you can hold in the States. All this is very negative to weight gain. In fact based on my last post which said I was 145 6 months ago; I’ve actually lost 2 pounds over those months. =/

Now I’m certainly not going to give up. That would be rather out of character for me. However it may be some time before I complete this goal. Maybe even a year or two as I move into my early 20’s and my metabolism begins to slowdown. Wish me luck!



Building up my body. 2 years ago

Hi, the names Stephen. I’m in really good physical shape but I’ve hit a road block on my way to having good body tone, I can not gain weight.

Thanks to my families extremely high metabolism I’m stuck at 145ish and almost never move from there.

Now I’m sure I don’t need to tell you that if I’m not gaining weight then I’m not gaining anymore muscle or build.

So I’ve begun a diet that calls for me to consume 3,500+ calories a day. I’ll let you all know how it goes.

Edit: Remember to balance your carbs and protein. It creates the best situation for weight gain. (Essentially doing the opposite of that dangerous Atkins diet)
