learn norwegian

The other day I remembered the first time I ever thought “Bloody hell! I wanna learn Norwegian”!
It had absolutely nothing to do with the language but actually with the fact that I wanted to speak to as many Norwegian girls as I could LOL , but since then although this is still the aim – I find the language itself is just as amazing as it’s people.

Very very out there at the moment… but still on the goals :)

So, I finally downloaded BIKY again on to my laptop and work computer – finally!! endless practice, I think I will end up paying for the full version as it seems like the most inexpensive and most comprehensive method ever! Without having to enroll in a full time class or having to fly to Scandinavia ( which just has to be done) –
I do seem to be the only one in 43Things actually doing this now….. : ]

I know what you mean , but luckily we have those people we call parents to help out, he..he. If it wasn't for my parents I would never have kept up with Spanish :)

Well this year bring so many new opportunities doesn’t it!, (?)
Well yes I think so, Finally got my laptop back from the good guys over at ACER, except now that I got it back a few other things do not work properly so I sent back to get it fixed, so it’ll be a bit longer before I get back into WIKY again; I think I have lost ground – I mean I can only really recall really easy words like TAKk!
I have been looking for Norwegian courses in Sydney, but there does not seem to be any around… as the days go by the idea of studying abroad in Norway or Sweden taste allot sweeter :)

Hope they don’t delete my entire hard drive when it goes in for diagnosis!! otherwise it is back to the beginning …..lol

Been somewhat slow these days in actually making any progress – time just seems to fly – but given that there is a whole two and a half months left till celebrations start again (Christmass etc..) I think I can look forward to some quality time making some more progress :) Huraaaa!!!!

Amazing I always say!! – Amazing that we have Languages, yeah they help us get our point across….if we are using the language of words – speech writting which in itself is just so amazing!! – but a smile, a hug, the sound of an instrument… the beauty of all these other universal languages is unsurpassable…except for maybe by the most universal oldest of languages Love.

One step at a time, has been proving to be more rewarding that I had imagined! I am not able to recolect words like,
Tussan Tak (Thank much or Thousand thank you’s) , Ja(yes), nei (no), morgenMorning), nat(Night), ettermiddag (afternoon) ... somewhere I read that it is much easier to build a vocabulary and then try to put them into use later, at least that’s how I learnt English lol lol
And with the help of Spell check all over the place eventually it stuck.. lol

Damm I had to choose the hardest one huh!?
But so worth it!! – Anyone else going spastic on the closely knit pronounciation!? – but how good does it sound!

At least I have Spanish to help me with it’s soft and flowing phonetics and English with it’s direct and well rounded sounding pronnounciation of single words –
So i’ve decided that I was setting myself surreal goals for my learning based in LaaaLaaa land! jajaj
So back to basics easy does it , how is everyone else progressing…..

Wont be able to really learn the language untill I actually make it out there [Scandinavia], so maybe a year up in the far north doing some study will do some good; better get a second Job so I can start saving heaps more;
