Really wanted to do this before I move out west, but it’s just not going to happen.
I fantasize that my extra weight will just drop off due to my simply leaving Florida. It’ll help that I’ll be hustling more to get a job out there.
We’ll see.

...today. I was on the treadmill, and it didn’t seem like any huge sacrifice. Not unpleasant at all. I had my iPod and 3 sport bottles of water.
My trainer says that walking is the best way to lose fat, of which he feels I can safely lose 35 lbs. (I’m tall, so the weight doesn’t look all that unhealthy, but I know it’s there.)
Another weight-training day tomorrow.
Didn’t feel that long. My trainer works with me twice a week; a medium day and a heavy day, 2 or 3 sets. He leaves the number of sets up to me.
Now, his daughter is a sprinter, training for the Olympics in Bejing. He doesn’t push her any more than she pushes herself. So when he asks me if I want to do another set, I believe he thinks I can handle it. If I’m out of breath, he makes me wait until I’m ready. If I’m starting to get weak, we move on to something else and come back. I trust this guy.
I did a heavy today, 3 sets, plus a total of a hour walking in my fat-burning zone on the treadmill. I’m pleased.
