Just like booksbooksbooks, I am marking this complete because of a mental shift, not because something has changed in my external reality. I have lots of different mentors already, in all different areas of my life. Really, acknowledging their contributions is probably one way for me to be more open to their help. Thanks Annie! Today I met with a woman who I thought might be a good contact for my sex activist work 2 years ago

And she was incredibly supportive of my efforts. She said if I ever have any events, even if they’re small, I should let her know and she’ll come just to support me. It’s hard to say whether she’ll end up being a huge teacher and mentor to me or just one link in my support network. But it’s nice to have her there, either way.
