The Bug announced for his 9th b-day he wants to go skiing. Not that he’s ever skied. But it would get me out of having to throw a kids party. And I’d start arranging the trip almost immediately so we’d have reservations. Recommendations for good beginner slopes in Northern CA?

Since it’s June, I won’t be skiing any time soon. I’m shooting for January 2006. By then I should be able to wedge myself into snowpants and not look like the Abominable Snowman.
