One Down, One to Go

I have a handle on the “being happy alone” part. I really do live a satisfying life that is not dependent upon being married or having a significant other. And if I never marry, I believe I will still be happy and satisfied with life.
And I have a wonderful daughter and lots of really great friends who have brought me lots of companionship and joy.
But I would like a soulmate. Someone to talk to. Someone who I can understand, who understands me better than almost anyone. Maybe even better than I understand myself.
