I stopped by Larry’s place today and gave him the script. That’s enough for me to call this goal completed.

The 4th draft didn’t require a major overhaul. I could still polish it up, but before I do I’ll give it to the director, in case he wants some major changes.
Now it’s time to show it to someone.
Overall the 2nd draft looks good. One more rewrite and it’ll be ready to show to someone. And I already know who that someone will be.
It still needs another rewrite for clarification and adding amusing details. What this script could also use is some great character quotes.
At this rate, I’ll havbe the second draft done by tomorrow.
My director friends is out of town for another week or so, and I want to have something to show him when he gets back.
The story is getting tighter. The script is getting shorter too. I hope that it comes in at length. I’m one of those writers that has trouble making things long enough.
I’m forty pages in with no trouble. Tomorrow could get rough, because I changed a TV to a radio. It’s amazing how the bulk and weight of one object can send a story in a different direction.
Since I’m revising, I can work at twice the speed of writing from a blank page. At this rate, I’ll have the second draft done in another 4 days.
I transferred my screenplay from Word into Final Draft. It was so easy. Final Draft reformatted it in multi-page chunks, without too much fuss. I’m a convert.
