take more risks

So I’ve slacked off this goal a bit.

I haven’t really been that risky lately. There haven’t really been that many opportunities to. And I’m sad to admit that I have turned down some tiny ones that probably could’ve been considered risks for me.

I’m gonna try to get back on the horse though. There’s a cute boy in one of my classes that I’ve talked to once. Opportunity? I’m thinking so. :)

I went to the state fair with my friend. I’d never ridden any fair rides before, so we went on two.

The Ring of Fire was HORRIBLE. It looked horrible and I was kind of hesitant to go, but I wanted to take a risk. Oh my God, it was terrifying. I seriously thought I was gonna fall out. But as scary as it was, I’m kind of excited that I can say I actually went on it.

After the Ring of Fire, we went on Cliff Hanger. It was SO much more awesome. And I remember that was the ride that my cousin tried to get me to go on with her when I was younger. I chickened out then because I was too scared. Not anymore! It felt like I was flying. So so very cool.

I love taking risks. :)

I’ve been wanting to do this since I was in 8th grade.

So, while at the mall on vacation with my mom, I decided to say “what the hell” and just do it.

It hurt about as much as I thought it would.

But I’m definitely glad I did it at last. :)

I’ve never taken enough risks in my life. I’m always too scared.

But I’ve experienced some pretty awesome things by taking risks. So I’m going to record the risks I do take and remind myself of how awesome it can be. Maybe that’ll help me do it more often.
