carpe diem

OK…so my friend invited me to join a kickball team. I did.

When he said “we should burn this stuff while the ground is wet” he was right. He’s right A LOT of the time. I didn’t mean to burn the brush last night. I meant to wallow in my sorrow inside the house and alone. But Adrian was right. It wasn’t even cold – it was the perfect night to build fires. So we built a fire pit and we used the grill and we burned EVERYTHING there was to burn. Carpe Diem, baby.

So…the lead singer for the Spin Doctors (Chris) was hanging out last night after the show signing autographs. So we meandered over there to say hi. Long story short we wound up making friends and hanging out with him all night. Carpe Diem baby.

Tonight I’m going to take advantage of a free show in my town…I’m tired and there is much to do at the house…but carpe diem you know…The Spin Doctors are playing and my friends are the opening band. Can’t miss it.

Tonight after work I will go to the gym because I am healthy enough to do so…and want to remain that way.
