The most beautiful night sky I have seen was in the mountains on a clear night.
If you can’t make it to the northern lights soon maybe you can just get away from the city lights on a clear night!

Has anyone taken northern lights photography?
In such low light it must be difficult to get a good shot.
Where is the furthest south that a person can see the lights in ALL their Splendor?

No doubt the northern lights in the wilderness would be amazing.
If I was going to see them I would want to see them in the wilderness where no light pollution could spoil the show!

I have seen small glimpses of them here in West Virginia but nothing like it is up in Canada or Alaska.
