I only want to say:
A breakfast platter..
The Universe knows the rest.

Went to my fav Starbucks & chatted with P while she was on register. Another customer arrived and did not have $ for a drink. So:
I bought him a drink & told him to pay it forward.
I have a handful of plants that I give cuttings of to some of my neighbors. It feels good to see & hear of them nurturing one more thing in their life.
I am the youngest at work & also the ‘newbie’. From just being me, I offered a co-worker daylillys for her back yard. They are a glorious orange color. She was happy to receive a perrenial that will florish in her yard.
I am returning to my favorite school today. I am so excited to see the kids again…
I interact with the kids, especially the ones in the “challenged” class. I enjoy taking my time with each one and encouraging them.
This really isnt random… I do this every time but wanted to share.
Today I splurged and bought muffins. I ate one while drinking my coffee at Starbucks. A little voice urgently told me to offer my other muffin to the person in line. I did not respect that voice. Knowing that I ignored my inner spirit, I offered the muffin to a few others as time passed. Nobody took me up on the offer.
Its all good. I have a muffin to share with my son when he gets home from school.
Early this afternoon at my coffee jaunt, there were no avaliable tables for a gentleman to use his laptop. He sat down nearby. I asked him if he would like to share the table with me. We shared the table for half an hour. He did his work and I did mine.
So simple.
Thank You is a pharse I have been using a lot recently. I am working with elementary kids as a temp. I say thank you as often as possible to them. My first day they looked at me like I had a second head..My second day I had a great number of kids smile and tell me ‘youre welcome’. My third day I had a shy child ask me for help cleaning up a spill…another child waved enthusiasticly at me as I walked by.
I believe this was all because of the simple act of saying Thank You.
At one of my Starbucks haunts, a lady beside me needed 12 cents. I had paid for my drink a few seconds before she had paid for hers. Thus opened my hand and said to take what was needed. The woman kept saying thank you over & over until I looked up at her. When I did, she had the most intense gaze which was nice to see. What I did not expect was her look of bewilderment. Honestly, it was 12 cents. We parted was after she exclaimed that I was a very nice person…I whispered not to say that too loud, other people might find out!
nodnod It was a god thing.
Years ago when I worked at a health club, I found money taped very securely in odd places. (Behind doors, onto yoga mats, upper corners of rarely used mirrors..) I have decided to do the same thing in various places. I will not tape the change so tightly that it would take a knife to dislodge it. I will make it easy that a kid could get it. This could be lots of fun!
