I started eating healthier in February (8.2), from then
I’m trying to be awere of my choices when buying groceries,
reading labels and just trying to buy more healthy foods.
Things I have completly removed from my meals are pork and beef.
I totally cut down on : potatos, pasta, bread and sweets.
I eat fish, chicken, turkey, cheese, mushrooms, fruits, vegetables, soya…
I found that for me works only that I fill my kitchen with only healthy stuff,
that way I won’t even get tempted to eat something else.
But I didn’t removed from my meals anything I really love – like chocolate…
I really love chocolate :)))
But with all that , I think moderation is the key.
I didn’t eat a lot, but I didn’t exercise either and to be healthier and to
lose weight I knew that I have to do it all, so I stopped expecting that
everything will just magically fall into place…and decided to work on
both at the same time to get results I want.
Also my portions are now about 1/3 of what would I usually eat in some meal.
I eat just as much to not be hungry, but it took some time
(less then a week) to get used to smaller portions.
I’m having a “meal diary” for over a month now, just to see
really when, what and how much am i eating.
I’m trying to eat last meal around 8 pm.
For now I feel great, healthier and I lost 5 kg – Woo Hoo!!!
